How to Get the Most out of Your Photos

It’s more than just a picture, it’s re-telling stories how they actually happened. Each shot captured is a thread in the larger tapestry of a love story, or a cherished life event. it’s preserving the fleeting moments—an unspoken glance, a tear on a father’s cheek, a spontaneous laugh among friends—those details that are easy to miss in the whirlwind of the day but are what truly make an experience unforgettable. Capturing you, is making sure that no moment, no matter how small or subtle, is ever forgotten.

Get ready to get candid!

When in doubt, keep moving. It’s pretty common to feel extra awkward in from of the camera, so try your best to act like it isn’t there. Take a second to notice all the little details around you— how does the weather feel on your skin? What do your surroundings smell like? Fall deep into the eyes of your significant other. Allow yourself to get swept up in the moment, staying ever-present, forgetting everything else (especially what you look like!)

Stay curious

Feel free to ask lots of questions throughout, and if at any point your feeling spontaneous, follow that intuition! Allow your bodies, and feelings of the moment to lead you into different movement. And if things still feel unnatural, I’m there to help with prompts and fill in the gaps.

Dress confidently

Choose an outfit that not only brings you joy to look at, but one that you’ll feel comfortable in. There’s nothing worse than constantly worrying about adjusting pieces of clothing- it tends to take you out of the present moment. And remember, you truly do look incredible just the way you are!

My main goal is to preserve authenticity by capturing how your love unfolds in real life, naturally. Finding a helpful headspace to do something that can otherwise not always feel the most natural will ensure you’re getting the most out of your photos, and will help us create beautiful art together.
