These two are just a match made in Heaven. Cait from England, and Canyon from the States, met just a short seven or eight months or so ago. When Cait made the jump to come visit Canyon here in Arizona, they decided they could no longer picture life apart from one another.

… Queue a Holy matrimony!

The evening started with the most thoughtful surprise video of some of Cait’s closest family and friends from back home, congratulating the two on their decision to commit to each other forever. Sat under the palms, the two shared both laughs and tears of joy as they let the words of love and encouragement wash over them.

The ceremony was held on the water as the golden desert sun set slowly set behind them, casting a gorgeous glow. It was stunning, warm, sentimental. Married by an old friend, with Canyon’s mom & sister as witnesses, the two promised to love one another from now to eternity through everything life has for them.

The beautiful thing about such a stripped-down, laid-back, no-fluff celebration is the way it not only leaves room but really showcases the bride & groom’s true personality and authentic love. It’s a stress-free environment that encourages countless laughs from slipped-in jokes, and this feeling where you’ve never been more present, like it’s just you two in your own world. It creates space for shifts or pivoting, to keep things true to life and allow moments to unfold naturally.

Post-ceremony as rays of gold flooded the sky, the newlyweds shared a first dance and it was as romantic as ever!

As we moved on to photos, the two shared that as they were waiting for sunset they indulged themselves in chocolate ice cream cones… (IN THEIR WEDDING ATTIRE!!!) Honestly, it was so them. So light-hearted and fun. They’re two of the most kind and caring people I’ve ever met.
